YAY For The Olympics!

I loved the Olympics this year! I was glued to the tv every single night during the Beijing Olympics this year and I stayed up way past my bed time to cheer on our American athletes! Can you say 2:30am for live Olympic events? Craziness! Here are just a few of my favorite things that took place during these games because there are way to many to mention. They are as follows...

Michael Phelps
8 for 8 in 08
Is there anything more that can be said about Michael Phelps?

USA beats trash talking Frenchys in Men's 4x100 Free Final!
Ok so you would think that there would be loads of pictures from this race online but I could not find any what so ever...it must be a French conspiracy! Wee wee ha ha!

Phil Dalhausser
Wow he totally put the Brazilian "Jaws" to shame in the 3rd set with 6 insane blocks! It was beautiful and I still heart you, Dalhausser!

Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh
Yay for these girls! I was super happy that they were able to win gold again this year, even with that cheap shot at the end with a "fake" medical time out by China. May and Walsh are super spunky and they make this sport enjoyable to watch with their fun personalities!
I also enjoyed seeing President Bush and Lady Laura Bush around the Olympics too!
The Opening Ceremonies were a once in a lifetime thing to witness, even if it was only on tv and not in real life. They were incredible! Also one of my favorite parts for all Olympics are when all of the athletes from each country come walking into the stadium. It is so amazing I sit there in ah, it is so cool. Anyways I can't wait for the London Olympic games in 2012 and maybe just maybe I can be there to witness history in the making! :-)

The Thin Beast Dominates!

Did you see the final Men's Beach Volleyball game the other night USA vs. Brazil? In the 3rd set Phil Dalhausser slammed down the Brazilian team single handed with his powerful 6'9 blocking skills! It was beautiful!

I kinda <3 you Dalhausser!

Denied by Mr. Clean!

Twilight...Earlier Then Expected!

TWILIGHT!

Earlier Then Expected!

Woohoo! This is great news! Before when it was going to be released on 12/12/08, I would be moving that day, so I wouldn't have time to go see the movie until later on...which might of actually killed me! hehe Yay...I am super excited!

Go World! Go USA! Go Phelps!

Go WORLD! Go USA! Go PHELPS!

Michael Phelps is a one man swimming machine! Is there anything this 23 year old can't do? Last night in the men's 200m Butterfly final his goggles were even filled with water and he was basically swimming blind and he still kicked everyone's trash to win Gold once again! It's amazing to watch him...I love it! After last nights events he currently has a total of 5 Gold medals from the Beijing games and a career total of 11 Gold medals, half from the Athens games in 2004! Phelps has the most Gold medals anyone has ever had in the whole entire world! WOW! Every single night I am glued to the tv watching the Olympics and cheering on the United States and especially Phelps, I really want him to win all Gold in these games and he still has 3 more to swim for!

Go Michael, you can do it!!
