So its official...Bachelor Matt Grant is now single again! Shocker? Umm...NOPE! And it only took maybe a month for this to happen! He picked a crazy self centered actress, what did he expect?Anyone could see on the show that she was fake and was totally using him! From Usmagazine.com, "After he moved to L.A. and saw her constantly partying and clubbing, he realized that she wasn't behaving like a woman who was ready to be in a serious relationship," a source close to Grant reveals. Umm DUH! Sorry Matt, she will probably now take you on a world wind media fiasco to continue her 15 minutes of fame but atleast your rid of the beast!

The Summer I Fell In Love With...

OLIVER!!!

This is my last post about Oliver, I promise!

I have been wanting to adopt him for months and nagging my parents about him endlessly to the point where they agreed to come see him and check him out when they finally came to Idaho for vacation. The whole week before they were to meet him I was thinking I hope he is still there, I hope he is still there so that they could atleat meet the puppy who I am in love with. Saturday finally came and I rushed down to Idaho Falls to Petco, hoping, crossing my fingers that he would be there. Well I walk in and he is NOT there! I asked one of the ladies where he was and she said that someone called the night BEFORE, only a few hours before, and wanted to check him out to adopt him! Oh my gosh...I was gonna burst into tears! After all those weeks and hours of spending quality time with him and trying to think of ways to adopt him into our family...with only a few hours to go before my parents get to meet him...he gets adopted by someone else! Don't get me wrong I am soooo happy and excited for him but I wanted him too! Obviously it was meant to be and I think that it turned out how it was so suppose to!

Oliver will be a great dog for the family that adopted him and I am so happy that his story has turned out happy with him being adopted and now has a home to call his own!

I do miss you my little love, Oliver!

But I know you are one happy puppy in Idaho!!

I finished the third book in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, a month ago but never posted anything about it...so...Eclipse was nothing like I expected it to be. I had heard so many different things about the third book, that when I finally read it for myself it blew my mind! The love triangle of Edward/Bella/Jacob was written perfectly in this book, especially the chapters toward the end...those made me laugh out loud! After Twilight this book has to be my favorite. Edward in every sinlge book is amazingly adorable but this book took it to a whole other level! That's all I am going to say I don't want to ruin it for anyone....so go read it yourself, you won't regret it!!

On this coming saturday August 2nd the fourth and final book Breaking Dawn is coming out! I am so excited for this book...I am sure it is going to be amazing! My theory about the book is that Edward is going to become human somehow and will no longer be a vampire and then Bella won't have to sacrifice her relationships with her parents and her friendship with Jacob. I can see "Breaking Dawn" as meaning that Edward, who is always in darkness is finally going to break into the dawn of a new morning by becoming human again! We shall see soon enough!!

I am also currently reading Stephenie Meyer's adult scifi book, The Host! I am only a few chapters in but so far so good! Check it out after you finish reading the whole Twilight Saga!

The Good, The Bad And The Just Plain Ugly!

This past summer semester at BYU Idaho I took my first course for my minor in Culinary Arts, BAKING! I thought the class would be pretty easy but it totally was not. It was hard, especially since my professor was a food scientist who worked at Hamburger Helper and places like that. Anyways here are some pictures of the things I made in baking this past semester...the good, the bad and the just plain ugly!!

Soft Pretzels! I liked these.

French Bread! Broke in half but tasty!

Bagels....not so much...did not rise! Like eating half of a half of bagel!

Braided Whole Wheat Bread, broke in half, not very appealing to the eyes!!

Cinnamon Rolls...tasty of course!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins! I enjoyed these!

Drop Biscuits....okay...kind of like KFCs.

Key Lime Pie....crust not so much...filling DELICIOUS!

Chocolate Cake with Butter Cream frosting...cake pretty good, frosting even better! Ran out of time to decorate because my partner and I were baking an Angel Food Cake at the same time but it turned out to be a volcano in the oven!

Final Project...Cinnamon Rolls again!

Also during the semester in baking, donuts were made but I missed that day. Originally for my final project I wanna to do a cake in the shape of an umbrella or a mushroom but cakes turned out to be a little bit more trying then I had thought when we first tried them. But there's always Cake Decorating class in the Fall semester!

So It's Finals Week You Say...

True Story: It is finals week and I am freaking out!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

This is how my week has been so far...
Monday: Try and make perfect Cinnamon Rolls for Baking Final Project!

Tuesday: Take last Biology test and hope I pass!
Wednesday: Take Baking Final and be done with that class!

And coming soon with only a few hours left to study and freak out...
Thursday: Take Sanitation and Safety final and be done with that class forever!
Friday: Take Biology final and hopefully be able to pull off a decent grade that won't kill my gpa! Take History final and be done with this class that has kicked my trash with a million quizzes!

All of this needs to be accomplished at the same time as studying for a million hours, packing up my whole room, having little sleep or no sleep and being rudely awaken by fireworks at 2:15am! Seriously last night some guys set fireworks off in our parking lot...scared me to death! I thought we were being bombed or invaded by I don't know...Vikings or Pirates!?! Nothing like being woken up extremely early by super loud scary noises! I almost had a heart attack and I didn't fall asleep again for an hour! :-(

Anyways blah blah blah! :-P

Okay...today was our last Sunday of summer semester! Jocelyn and I were a little tired during Sunday school and we started goofing off....it's okay we were playing Jeopardy! Here is some of the madness! You can tell that finals are on there way!! Ahhh

Oliver! Oliver Twist!

My own little orphan named Oliver!

I named this little 5 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix Oliver a few Saturdays ago when we were out on a walk together. I thought that he looked like an Oliver so I have been calling him that ever since. Until this past Saturday when I went back to Petco and his foster parents have started calling him "Stubbs". Stubbs? What the heck? He may have a stubby little tail but to name him that...I thought it was horrid. So I still call him Oliver and he answers to that name instead of Stubbs!

I wanna adopt little Oliver! We are buddies and have bonded over the last few weeks. But I still haven't convinced my parents yet that they need another dog to take care of when I am away at school. It probably won't happen but hey I can dream right? :-)

And also Val the lady in charge of the Pet Adoptions is like you can take home Oliver here and now. You guys are bonded and you can tell that Oliver loves you. Aww...if only I could! Which I am hoping I can in the next couple of weeks! *crosses fingers* Remember I can dream right?!?! :-P
